Use simple and inexpensive natural treatment for removal of brown spots in face, which is also referred as age spots?  Brown spots on skin, are a nightmare for anyone. When exposed to UV rays, skin produces cells called melanocytes. This produces the dark brown pigment called melanin, which turns the skin darker in patches. As these brown spots are mostly formed on face, they are commonly known as face spots. With age also some people develop brown spots and therefore these are also known as age spots. Certain home remedies can help in removing age or brown spots and give you a glowing skin.
Treat Brown Spots Naturally
General home tips to reduce dark spots on face
  • Citrus fruits juice: Take the juice of citrus fruits like as lemon, orange, pineapple, tomato, red currant, etc. Apply the juice evenly on the dark spots. This helps in skin lightening by bleaching it. You can also dilute the juice with water or rose water and apply. Wast after 15-20 minutes. 
  • Butter milk and tomato juice: Mix four teaspoons of buttermilk and two teaspoons of tomato juice. Apply the mixture on your face. 
  • Milk, cream and honey: Mix sour milk, cream and honey properly. Daily apply this mixture on your face for about 10-15 minutes. This removes brown spots naturally.
  • Onion juice and honey: Mix one tablespoon of onion juice and two tablespoons of honey. Apply this mixture for about 15 minutes. You can add some vinegar in the solution, if you have oily skin.
  • Vitamin E: Take a vitamin E capsule and squeeze out the oil from it. Or else you can also take vitamin E oil. Massage the brown spot area with the oil. 
  • Honey: Honey is also a good remedy. 
  • Raw potato juice: This is considered effective in fading dark spots.
  • Sandalwood paste: Make a paste of sandalwood powder in rose water. Apply this paste on your face and neck to eliminate dark spots.
  • Saffron & Honey; A paste of saffron and honey also works wonders on brown spots. Apply the paste and then wash off.
  • Rind of a watermelon: Take the rind of a watermelon and rub on your age spots with it and then wash away with cold water.
  • Cumin seeds: Boil cumin seeds, strain the water and use it to wash your face. 
Exfoliate the skin
Try to exfoliate you skin occasionally. Use an exfoliating scrub. Remove the dead cells. This process works deep under the skin to remove brown spots.

Regular Cleaning
Mix lemon juice, apple cedar vinegar, and horseradish root in equal parts. Keep this solution in a bottle. Using a cotton swab, apply this on the affected area. This solution will act as bleach on the brown spots and help them fade quickly.

Undiluted Lemon Juice
For a quick treatment, apply undiluted lemon juice on the spots before going to bed every night.

Apply Sunscreen
Use sunscreen while going out.
